Shorts spotlight: Foodie

If you have a bizarre digestive disorder we recommend you see this film (and then see a doctor).

Today we present FOODIE!

Synopsis: A young man reluctantly agrees to help a friend who claims he’s experiencing a weird digestive disorder. In the process, he makes a shocking discovery which could give new meaning to the term “foodie.”

We asked director Aaron Rudelson a couple of questions about his film:

How much time and energy did you spend making the movie?

6.29 million kilojoules over the course of 6 months, give or take

Do you think it was worth all that time/energy?

Yes, but my wife doesn’t.

No, honestly.

Yes.  And my wife does too, actually.  She’s in the film.

What’s the funniest thing that happened on set? And by funniest we mean the most horrible thing.

The crew got to watch me stuff an entire pizza into my mouth.  It was the funniest thing for them, but the most horrible thing for me.

Convince us why your film should win our top award. Best answer wins the award (joking…or are we?)

FOODIE is the first film ever to expose the devastating effects of Krotchfeld Lubitsch Syndrome.
